One Nigerian man based in Kano state, Tijani Abubakar, attempted suicide on Tuesday, February 15 by drinking a poisonous substance.
Reports had it that Tijani who hails from Nasarawa local government area in the state and sells mobile phones at Farm Centre, made an attempt on his life by trying to drink a poisonous substance after the lady he was planning to marry rejected him.
The young girl suddenly decided to call of the relationship, the decision tore Tijani apart and wanting to end his life.
His friends and neighbors ralied round to rescue him from commiting suicide.
