National Executive Committee, NEC, of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has inaugurated a caretaker committee to steer the affairs of the party in the forth coming 2023 general election.
This is coming after the expiration of the tenure of the former chairman Ralph Okey Nwosu who stayed in power for 17 years.
The party had been thrown into crisis after Nwosu “cashed out” and sacked Abia ADC chairman, Don Norman Obinna.
ADC presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, also accused Nwosu of using the party to negotiate for money during electons. Nwosu then suspended Kachikwu, precipitating a party crisis that has now resulted into Nwosu’s ouster as party leader.
