Funmi Obiyemi, 28 years old and mother of two, from Ijimere compound, she lives with her husband and children beside LAT House, Oke Sopen area, Ijebu Igbo, has committed suicide over depression.
An anonymous source told MarvelTvUpdates that a day before the incident which was yesterday afternoon around after 1pm, Funmi, in her yard asked residents around if Hypo can kill or not.
After a while, she was found dead within a few miles away from her home. She was said to have killed herself with Hypo and a blade in the scene.
The source added that she left her two mobile phones with her husband before committing suicide.
On the arrival of her husband, she was hurriedly rushed to the hospital and however didn’t survive the menace.
Meanwhile, the family of the wife alleged the husband, Taiwo Obiyemi, the elder brother to the commander of Ijebu Igbo’s Amotekun as the killer and thereby arrested, and got him detained at topon police station headquarters ijebu igbo.
As at the point of writing this report, the story remains shady and more investigation is ongoing.
