The Governor of Ogun Stae, Dapo Abiodun has praised his administration, revealing that he did better than his predecessors.
He disclosed in a tweet, listing all the major roads constructed since he assumed office in May 2019.
“Over 80 major roads and others (Federal roads inclusive) totaling 400km have been constructed, reconstructed, or rehabilitated across the State.
“This administration in three years and six months has done more in terms of kilometers of roads than previous administrations in the State,”
The Governor wrote;
Dapo Abiodun who is currently under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC), was a founding member of the opposition’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State.
In 2015, after defecting to APC, he contested for the Ogun East senatorial seat, which he lost to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate.
Dapo Abiodun, in 2019, In 2019, then contested the gubernatorial elections in Ogun state and won, under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He served as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of the defunct United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP) in 1998. He has also has served as a member of various presidential committees and organizations.
