According to Bayero University, Kano, BUK, examination misconduct has resulted in the dismissal of 27 students and the suspension of eight others.
This was stated in a press release that was signed by Hajiya Amina Abdullahi, Director of the University’s Directorate of Examinations, Admissions, and Records.
The decision was reached during the 400th Senate meeting that took place on Thursday, according to a statement that the university issued to journalists.
“For allegedly being involved in examination misconduct, the senate approved the expulsion of 27 students and approved the suspension of eight others.
“Categories 20 and 17 (AI, III, IV, V, VI, VII, and XII) of the University’s General Regulations support the Senate’s decision.”
However, the University Senate issued a warning to 22 other students, she added.
