The fifth petition for today, submitted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been heard.
This is the last petition. It was adjourned till Thursday, May 11, 2023.
Chris Uche, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and counsel to Atku, is arguing that several agreements were broken during the presidential election.
But, Tinubu’s lawyers wants the court to dismiss all petitions for reasons, mostly lack of merit.
The Justice said the panel will look into the motion by Tinubu’s lawyers seeking to dismiss Atiku’s petition at the adjourned date.
After hearing the two sides, Justice Tsammani moved Atiku’s petition to Thursday, May 11.
