Some Youths suspected to be part of Yoruba Nation Agitators on Sunday hijacked Amuludun 99.1 FM, a community based station in Moniya Ibadan.
Amuludun 99.1FM is a community station owned by the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
It was gathered that the the suspects invaded the station with various forms of charms at 6am and held sway for almost 45 minutes.
A staff of the Outlet said, “they came in at around 6am, broadcast inciting statements for over 45 minutes before security agents waded in and regained control.”
The Source, however, confirmed that four of the youths were arrested and normal programming had resumed as at 9am.
At the time of filing this report, the Oyo Police Command was yet to issue a statement on the incident.
