Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), misplaced his two mobile phones at the tribunal session in Abuja on Tuesday.
It was gathered that Obi was accompanied by his running mate, Ahmed Baba-Ahmed, award-winning novelist Chimamanda Adichie, and other political associates.
Obi, dressed in his usual black attire, sat close to Baba-Ahmed throughout the court’s proceeding.
In a video which has gone viral, Obi was seen searching for his phones, which he allegedly misplaced.
“I came in with two of them (phones) here,” he told Datti, who sought to know what was wrong.
It was after the court’s proceedings in his petition challenging the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election that Obi discovered that his mobile phone was missing.
However, a source later confirmed that the phones were found, TheCable reports.
Peter Obi and his party, Labour Party, are contesting the election victory of President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Election Petition Court.
