Suspected Cultists Kill Rival Cult Leader In Ogun | MarvelTvUpdates

The seemingly cult wars that have claimed many lives of cultists in Ogun state, especially in Sagamu area of the state reared its ugly head in Abeokuta, the state capital, on Thursday night as one of the leaders of Eiye Confraternity, Dare popularly known as Oloba was killed late last night.

Oloba,, who was said to have once been the number two of the Eiye cult was gunned down in front of his house along the ROF street, ijeja, Abeokuta.

Sources disclosed that Oloba was shot twice in the leg and chest at close range in his red colour Camry car, JJJ911GZ by two gunmen suspected to be members of a rival cult.
He was said to have been rushed to the federal Medical hospital, but died before getting the hospital.

Narrating the scenario, the source who is a resident in the street said ” we were seating down in front of a shop close to my house as a result of the heat around 10:30 to 11pm yesterday night when we heard a gunshot from two men who entered the street from the adjoining Alh.Sekoni street, it was few moments Dare popularly known as Oloba drove in and parked in front of his one storey building house.

The scenario was just a stone throw from where I seated.
“They had the gun concealed in a sack and brought it out after the first shot when they got to the car side of their target. He had already winded down the glass and seemed to be charging his phone in the car.

We heard sound of argument followed by a gunshot to his legs, the other man rushed to the other side of the car and also fired a shot and from where I was sitting a saw the figure in the car slumped sideway.. it was within this moment that we all scampered for safety.

” The shop owner where we were sitting couldn’t ran because her children, about three of them were sleeping at oneside outside the shop at that time.

She told us later that she buried her face on the ground as the two gunmen released another shot into the air and walked away on foot by that time the street to the adjoining stadium road has been deserted”.
