Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina state has announced a Sallah package for it’s state workforce ahead of the Eid-I-Kabir Celebrations.
Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the Katsina state Governor disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Katsina on Saturday.
In a move that has ignited jubilation among the hardworking civil servants of Katsina State, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD CON has unveiled a generous Sallah package to uplift the spirits and alleviate financial burden during the Eid-l-Kabir Celebration.
With a compassionate heart and a deep commitment to the well-being of the State’s workforce, Governor Radda has approved a remarkable financial assistance programme.
The statement stated that, each employee of the State Unified Local Government Service and the Local Education Authorities will receive a substantial sum of N45,000, consisting of a loan/advance of N30,000 and a Sallah package of N15,000.
According to the statement, the loan/advance component amounting to N30,000 would be conveniently repaid over the course of three months, beginning from July, August and September with a monthly repayment of N10,000.
Malam Falalu Bawale, the state Head of Civil Service while reacting to the Governor’s gesture, expressed gratitude for the Governor’s thoughtful gesture.
He said the financial assistance will undoubtedly bring relief to numerous households, enabling them to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid.
