Today, the 1995-2001 set of Japara high school old students association (JAHISOSA), Ijebu Igbo, gathered to celebrate their reunion and establish a united front. The reunion held in school’s classroom at jarapa high school premises.
“The Host JHS Bankole Senkale, also an association member, welcomed attendees, The event commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the national anthem, and a warm welcome address by Administrator Coordinator, JHS Chief Ismael Oladipupo.
“JHS Chief Oladipupo emphasized the importance of unity among alumni, sharing his vision for a stronger, more connected community.”
“Furthermore General Secretary, JHS Babajide Sosanya presented the constitution, which underwent amendments and adoption. The revised document will guide the committee’s decisions.”
The occasion also featured:
- Presentation of gifts to the school, including a billboard for student use.
- Appointment of an electoral officer.
- Election of executive officers.
- Swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected president.
CEO TBOI LAGA ENTERTAINMENT and also a member of the newly excos, Sanni Taiwo emphasizing the importance of unity and community engagement. In his remarks, Taiwo expressed:
- Gratitude to God Almighty
- Unity among the 2001 set
- Commitment to supporting Japara High School
- Pride in representing the alma mater globally
He prayed for an even more glorious reunion next year and pledged to give back to their alma mater.
“However The newly elected president, JHS Hon. Olukunle Ayodele expressed gratitude and delivered closing remarks, followed by a closing prayer.”
The reunion concluded with a memorable dinner, music, and dancing.
