I’m Open to Being a Second Wife — Popular Singer Tiwa Savage Talks About Marriage

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has stirred online discussions after openly stating that she’s willing to become a second wife, admitting that most men who show interest in her are already married.
Speaking on a recent episode of the American podcast Lip Service, the award-winning singer explained that as she gets older, her dating options have narrowed, with most potential partners being either older or unavailable.
“I’m like a sugar mama, but I don’t want to be,” Savage confessed.
She added, “If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they’re either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife.”
Tiwa savage, who shares a son with her ex-husband, music executive Tunji Balogun (TBillz), also revealed she wouldn’t mind maintaining peace in a polygamous marriage.
“I think I can get along with the first wife, and she’s going to love me because I’m not going to be troublesome,” she said.
“I’ll be going on tours; I’m not really going to stress you. I’m very respectful — I know that you’re the first wife and would accord you that respect.”
Savage and TBillz tied the knot in 2013 but divorced in 2018 following public allegations of infidelity.
Her remarks have since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians debating her candid views on love, age, and modern relationships.
