Former U.S. President Donald Trump intensified his criticism of Nigeria on Friday night, November 21, accusing the government of failing to protect Christian communities from rising extremist violence.
Speaking on a conservative radio show, Trump again warned that the U.S. could consider military action against Islamist militants in Nigeria if the government does not “do more” to curb the ongoing attacks.
“Nigeria is a disgrace. The whole thing is a disgrace,” Trump said. “They’re k!lling people by the thousands. It’s a gen0cide, and I’m really angry about it. We give Nigeria huge subsidies and we may have to stop.”
