“Nigerians Are Suffering Under Tinubu,” Says Islamic Cleric Hired to Campaign for Muslim-Muslim Ticket

A Nigerian cleric who previously supported the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket has criticised Bola Tinubu’s policies, saying they have brought untold hardship and suffering to Nigerians.
The cleric expressed his disappointment with the Tinubu-led government and the hidden agenda behind the proposed Muslim-Muslim ticket.
In a video post, he revealed he was among those paid to convince people about the ticket, but he ceased doing that when he discovered the intention of the ticket was not pure.
“I am among the Clerics that were selected and paid to go round and convince people to vote for Muslim/Muslim ticket and we did exactly that because we thought their intentions was pure. What kind of President is this. All your policies are for people to suffer.”
While some Nigerians applauded his boldness to speak out on such controversial issue despite being a cleric, others blamed him from collecting money to pursue such an evil course.
An X user, Spontaneous wrote,”I am glad Islamic clerics are now exposing themselves that the Muslim/Muslim ticket was indeed orchestrated by the Fulani/Muslims of the north to serve as the basis for the genocidal campaign against Nigerian Christians.”
“You knew right from the start that it was without good intentions that’s why you took money from them. Your only regret is that you never knew that funds will stop flowing into your account,” another X user Chima Ogba added.
