Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State — Some concerned youths in Ijebu-Igbo have reacted strongly to reports of a planned protest allegedly targeting the police authorities in the town.
In statements made available to MarvelTvUpdates, the youths distanced themselves from the proposed demonstration, describing it as “mischievous” and allegedly orchestrated by hoodlums parading themselves as genuine representatives of Ijebu-Igbo youth.
According to them, the planned protest does not reflect the collective interest or position of responsible and law-abiding youths in the community. They emphasized that any grievances should be addressed through peaceful dialogue and lawful engagement rather than actions capable of causing tension or unrest.
The group further called on security agencies to remain vigilant and urged residents to disregard any attempt to incite disorder under the guise of youth representation.
