Faction Leader and Primate of the Celestial Church of Christ, Reverend Gabriel Beni Omoge, Passes Away

Factional leader of the Diocesan faction of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Reverend Gabriel Beni Omoge, has passed away.
Reverend Omoge died at about 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, 15th February 2026, after a short illness.
He was born in the early 1960s in Isua-Akoko, located in Akoko South-East Local Government Area of Ondo State. He was the fifth child in a family of six.
His father, now late, was a cocoa merchant, while his mother was a trader.
Reverend Omoge was raised in the Anglican Church before later joining the Celestial Church of Christ.
He later became the successor to the late Reverend Paul Maforikan and was well known for his strong passion for evangelism.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
