New Iyalode of Oke Agbo, Alhaja Chief Mosunmola Kareem Celebrated for Leadership and Community Empowerment

The installation of the new Iyalode of Oke Agbo, Alhaja Chief Mosunmola Kareem, has been described as a major milestone for the community. Her chieftaincy title is seen as a symbol of progress, unity and forward-thinking leadership in Oke Agbo.
Residents and observers have praised the decision of His Royal Highness, Oba Stephen Adekoya (Iluyomade I) the Beje Roku of Oke Agbo, for selecting a capable and deserving woman for the prestigious position. Many believe her emergence marks the beginning of a new phase of growth and development in the town.
Alhaja Chief Mosunmola is widely known for her contributions to leadership and business, as well as her dedication to empowering people. Her efforts have helped many individuals improve their lives, and she is recognized for carrying people along and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
As part of the celebration, Mr. Isaiah Olumodan Adeniyi Oluomo a proud beneficiary of the Iyalode’s mentorship and a supportive brother as well showed strong support and appreciation by presenting six brand new motorcycles to the Iyalode. The motorcycles are meant to support ongoing empowerment programmes in the community. This gesture has been widely commended as a good example of loyalty and gratitude.
Beneficiaries of the empowerment programme, drawn from the six quarters of Oke Agbo, have been advised to make good use of the opportunities given to them. These include motorcycles, cash support of N250,000, and educational scholarships. They are also encouraged to remain humble and use the opportunity to uplift others in their communities.
Community members have expressed hope that the new Iyalode’s leadership will bring more unity, peace, and development to Oke Agbo.
The people of the town also extended prayers and goodwill to Oke Agbo, Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, and Nigeria as a whole.
