Three young boys have been apprehended by the police for allegedly murdering a young girl simply identified as Rofiat in cold blood and cutting off her head for money ritual in Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta, Ogun state
The culprits are aged 17, 19 and 20 years old. One of them who resides in Odo-Olude was Interrogated at the scene where they orchestrated the killing and led them to the room they kept the remains of the lady body.
Upon interrogation, he said that they soley killed her for money ritual purpose and she was dating one of them whom he identified as Saliu.
He said the lady lives in Idi-Ape and was lured to their place. The boyfriend, Saliu, sat on the girl and strangled her, then instructed him to finish off the girl and cut of her head with a cutlass.
They were arrested on the early hours of Saturday, Jan 29th 2022 by local vigilantes while burning the head of Rofiat in a local pot and led the vigilantes to where her remains were packed into a sack.
The police were alerted and they swiftly responded.
