2023: OPC, Oyo Chiefs Others Back Tinubu As SWAGA Vows To Deliver 15m Votes In South West | MarvelTvUpdates

Baales (village heads), under the aegis of Ibadan Conference of Baale,; the Fredrick Fasehun-led faction of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC); mogajis (family heads), hunters and many grassroots mobilisation groups, at the weekend, said they were solidly behind the ambition of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, to lead the country to Eldorado.

This also came as the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) vowed to deliver no fewer than 15 million votes for Tinubu in the South-West.

The groups made the vow during an endorsement and mobilisation rally organised by Rontex for BAT Political Signature and Ilaji Farm Mobilisation for Tinubu-Shettima Endorsement in Oyo State at Ilaji Farm and Resorts, Ona-Ara Local Council of Oyo State.

They said that the past strides of Tinubu in and outside government stood him out among those jostling for the coveted office.

Baale of Ekotede in Ibadan, Elder Taiye Ayorinde, who is the head of the Ibadan Conference of Baales, said the village heads had the approval and blessing of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun, to endorse Tinubu.

Also, Mogaji Asimiyu Adeyori, on behalf of Ibadan Mogajis, said all the family heads are supporting Tinubu’s ambition.

In the same vein, OPC, hunters and numerous Ibadan groups vowed that they would do all within their capacity to ensure Tinubu becomes the next president.

The Convener of SWAGA, Oyetunji Ojo and its Secretary, Bosun Oladele, in their address, vowed to deliver over 15 million votes to Tinubu in Yorubaland.

President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Yemisi Adeaga, said Ibadan would support the candidate that would be interested in the development of the city. Oba Balogun was represented by High Chief Tajudeen Ajibola.
