The Qatari Government has backtracked on an earlier rejection of a Business/Investment meeting on the sidelines of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit to the Arab nation scheduled for March 2024.
We recalls that President Tinubu came under heavy criticism on Saturday after Letter from Qatari authorities rejecting the Investment forum leaked on Social Media.
The memo cited the unavailability of Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the country’s minister of commerce and industry as the reason for the rejection.
However, on Sunday, Qatar agreed to host the business and investment forum.
