The APC campaign trail gained momentum today in Ward 10, as councilorship candidate Hon. Fausat Juliet Paul spearheaded a vibrant event, uniting leaders, supporters, and community members in anticipation of the upcoming election.
The event kicked off with Hon. Femi Nuberu’s powerful declaration, followed by Kayode Otusanya’s heartfelt prayer. Hon. Oluwole Sobowale skillfully co-anchored the program, which brought together esteemed leaders, elders, and the CWC at the high table. The gathering also honored notable dignitaries, including Pa Ogunkoya Tiramisu, LG party executives, representatives from ethnic groups, farmers associations, and community members.
Elder T. Ogunkoya, Chief Baale of Isamuro, kicked off the event with a warm welcome address, acknowledging the esteemed leaders and urging everyone to rally behind APC candidates for a resounding victory. Baale Oresanya, a highly respected APC figure in the ward, also shared inspiring words of encouragement to boost morale.
Hon. Mrs. Modupe Mustapha stressed the importance of unity in securing a decisive win for both the chairmanship and councilorship candidates. Meanwhile, Chief Mrs. Adedoja Ogunnowo extended a heartfelt welcome to the campaign team as they arrived in Ward 10, setting the tone for a successful event.
Ogun Commissioner, Hon. Ademola Balogun, also Chairman of the CWC, addressed the gathering through his deputy, Hon. Gbenga Nuberu, expressing pride in APC’s dedication to community development. He highlighted the recently completed rehabilitation of primary school classrooms, a promise kept by the governor. Amidst current economic challenges, Nuberu urged the audience to remain patient and confident in the government’s policies.
Hon. Nuberu also sent a strong message to the opposition, emphasizing that key villages such as Erigba, Idi Akala, Idagolu, Odoye, Oke Ogbe, and Oriwu firmly back APC. He encouraged party members to stay vigilant and safeguard their votes on election day.
Hon. Dele Ajayi confidently declared that the upcoming election will be a true reflection of the people’s choice, directly challenging the opposition’s claims. He reminded the audience that APC has a proven track record of success in Ward 10, with a winning streak that predates the arrival of some opposition leaders from Lagos.
Building on this momentum, Hon. Engr. Segun Kaka asserted that the opposition’s influence has significantly waned, and invited them to join the APC, the winning team. He reassured the community that the people will not settle for a return to unfavorable conditions, emphasizing APC’s commitment to progress and development.
Hon. Mosunmola Oladipo, the INLG Party Chairman took the stage to proudly introduce the APC chairmanship, vice-chairmanship, and Ward 10 councilorship candidates. Building on the momentum, Hon. Fausat Juliet Paul showcased the recently renovated three-block classroom facility, originally built in 1960, as a shining example of the state governor and local government’s unwavering commitment to education and community development. This renovation not only provides a conducive learning environment but also boosts academic performance. By investing in education infrastructure, the APC-led government demonstrates its dedication to empowering future generations.
Vice-chairman candidate, Hon. Oluyemi Adeland, expressed heartfelt gratitude and offered solemn prayers, setting a tone of appreciation and unity.
Meanwhile, chairmanship candidate Mr. Bolaji Odusanya, affectionately known as “BJ,” made a resounding pledge to farmers, promising sustained support through essential resources like grants, seeds, and fertilizers.
