Four men were discovered dead inside their rented apartment at behind Church Olokuta area in Ilesa, Ijebu Igbo. They were last seen on Monday.
When the room was forced open, their phones were found still plugged into sockets, charging. The victims, believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, have been identified as Abraham, Matthew, John, and another yet-to-be-identified individual.
Reports suggest they were running a generator inside there room, though the exact cause of their sudden deaths remains unclear. Their bodies had already swollen by the time they were found, and some of their family members were present at the scene.
Police officers are currently on ground and making arrangements to move the bodies to the mortuary. Investigations are ongoing, and more details will be shared as they emerge.
