The Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government, Hon. Dr. Oluwaseun Omobalaji Odusanya, alongside the Secretary of the Local Government and other officials, has paid a courtesy visit to the Oluomo of Ijebu Igbo, Alhaji Chief Lawal Abiodun Olawale Ismail Abinugbola following his recent installation.
During the visit, the delegation formally presented a congratulatory letter to the Oluomo of Ijebu Igbo in recognition of his installation and leadership role within the community.
The visit was marked by goodwill, mutual respect, and discussions centered on unity, peace, and grassroots development in Ijebu Igbo and the wider Ijebu North area.
Expressing his appreciation, the Oluomo of Ijebu Igbo warmly acknowledged the visit and described it as a gesture of honour and encouragement.
“I sincerely appreciate my Egbon and the Secretary of Ijebu North Local Government for the courtesy visit to my office and the presentation of a congratulatory letter on my installation as the Oluomo of Ijebu Igbo. I am grateful for the honour, support, and recognition extended to me. May our collective efforts continue to promote peace, progress, and sustainable development in Ijebu Igbo and Ijebu North at large,” the Oluomo said.
The visit further reaffirmed the commitment of the local government leadership to traditional institutions as vital partners in community development and social harmony.
