Rt. Rev. Victor Adekunle Lawal Declared Factional Pastor of CCC World-Wide After Dr. Beni Omoge’s Demise

Rt. Rev. Victor Adekunle Lawal JP has been officially declared the factional substantive Pastor of the Celestial Church of Christ World-Wide Nigeria Diocese following the passing of Pastor Dr. Beni Omoge.
The declaration was made on Friday, 27th February 2026, at the Celestial Golden City located along the Ibadan–Lagos Expressway in Ogun State.
The announcement comes after the demise of Pastor Dr. Beni Omoge, whose death has created a leadership vacuum within the Diocese. Church leaders and members gathered at the Celestial Golden City for prayers and deliberations before the official declaration was made.
Rt. Rev. Victor Adekunle Lawal JP is expected to take up spiritual and administrative responsibilities as the new factional substantive Pastor, guiding the Diocese during this transition period.
Members of the Church have continued to express their condolences over the loss of Pastor Dr. Beni Omoge, describing him as a devoted spiritual leader who served with commitment.
He passed away on February 16, 2026 at aged 75. The Shepherds’ Council announced a 21-day mourning period from February 20, 2026, to March 8, 2026.
Funeral arrangements are still being awaited, with indications that he may be laid to rest at the CCC Golden City.
