The Oshin Omo Oshin Foundation, a non-governmental organization, continues to make a significant impact in Ijebu Igbo by supporting education, healthcare and community development initiatives.
“The foundation has been a key partner in empowering the less privileged and complementing government efforts”.
“Among its initiatives, the Free JAMB Registration Programme stands out as a flagship project. Since its launch in 2022, the programme has assisted over 400 students annually, helping them register for JAMB exams and following up to ensure many secure admission into universities, polytechnics and monotechnics of their choice”.
“Beyond education, the foundation supports livelihoods and economic empowerment. It distributes exercise books to students and implements targeted cash empowerment schemes, easing financial pressures and promoting self-reliance among residents”.
“Healthcare and public welfare are also key priorities. The foundation has successfully completed critical water projects, including boreholes at Aleke Mosque and the Ogun State Primary Health Centre, Egbe Subair, Oke Sopen and accross ijebu igbo, providing access to clean water for worshippers, patients, healthcare workers and surrounding communities”.
“Also clearing of blocked drainage in various parts of Ijebu Igbo, improving sanitation and public health, there is also annual distribution of books to students across the constituency, supporting education from the grassroots level”.
“In addition, the foundation has actively supported grassroots governance, working alongside local leadership to promote effective and results-driven administration”
“The Oshin Omo Oshin Foundation remains committed to sustainable community growth, making education, empowerment and healthcare support an ongoing mission rather than one-off interventions”
