Terrorist leader known as Sani was captured on a TikTok livestream interacting with Nigerians and other multiple accomplices in rural community in Zamfara State, Nigeria.
According to a detailed OSINT update by counter-terrorism analyst @mobilisingniger, the livestream, broadcast on TikTok, revealed Sani and his associates in an open public space before he concealed his surroundings after detecting a screenshot notification.
Screenshots from the session show participants identified as Umar Sanda and Ibrahim So, alongside chat messages in Hausa and Arabic.
Analysts say the footage highlights the group’s casual online presence even while preparing for criminal activities in Nigeria’s volatile northwest.
Videos further show Sani’s armed convoy navigating dusty trails on motorcycles while chanting Islamic verses.
Security experts note that these visuals expose operational details that could assist tracking efforts and reflect terrorists’ growing reliance on social media for coordination.
The revelation comes amid reports of over 50 deaths in similar Zamfara raids in 2026, underscoring the ongoing threat in the region.
