The National Democratic Coalition (NDC) has officially unveiled Balogun Toluwalase Idris as its candidate for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Ijebu North Constituency I, while reaffirming its support for Prince Adewale Shokoya, the party’s candidate for the Ogun East Senatorial District.
The declaration ceremony was held on Sunday at Oke Agbo Ward 05 in Ijebu-Igbo, where party leaders, members and supporters gathered in large numbers to witness the official presentation of the candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Speaking at the event, the NDC Chairman for Ijebu North Local Government, Ifade Olooda Oluwatosin, said the party carefully selected candidates with the capacity, integrity and commitment to provide quality representation at both the state and national levels.
According to the chairman, Balogun Toluwalase Idris is fully prepared to represent the people of Ijebu North Constituency I at the Ogun State House of Assembly, while Prince Adewale Shokoya possesses the experience and vision needed to effectively represent the people of Ogun East Senatorial District in the Senate.

He called on party members and residents across Ijebu North and Ogun East to remain united and committed to the NDC, urging them to mobilise support for all the party’s candidates during the election.
