The educational support formed part of the foundation’s latest empowerment programme carried out in April 2026, aimed at ensuring that deserving students continue their academic pursuits without financial constraints.
Under the programme, one beneficiary, a student of Leads University, received N100,000 for school fees. Another beneficiary, a parent, was supported with N55,000 to offset the school fees of two children at Brighter Future Model School.

According to the Oluomo of Ijebu Igbo, High Chief Alhaji Ismail Olawale Lawal Abinugbola, the educational support, like every other intervention under the Abinugbola Foundation, is personally funded by him as part of his commitment to giving back to society.
Established five years ago, the Abinugbola Foundation is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting the less privileged through educational assistance, healthcare interventions, business empowerment and humanitarian services.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to High Chief Abinugbola for the timely intervention, describing the financial assistance as a major relief that would enable them to pursue their education without interruption. They also prayed for Allah’s continued blessings, protection and strength upon the philanthropist for his unwavering commitment to supporting education and transforming lives.
The total educational support mentioned in this article is N1,302,500.
We sincerely pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless, protect and strengthen the Oluomo of Ijebu Igbo, High Chief Alhaji Ismail Olawale Lawal Abinugbola and the Abinugbola Foundation for the remarkable generosity and unwavering commitment to uplifting the less privileged.
