Senator Yayi’s Classroom Project at Molusi College, Ijebu-Igbo, Completed and Solar-Powered

MOLUSI COLLEGE IJEBU-IGBO — The newly constructed classroom block at Molusi College, Ijebu-Igbo, initiated by Senator Adeola Solomon Yayi, has been completed and powered by a solar energy system.
The project is aimed at providing a more conducive and comfortable learning environment for students of the school.
The modern classroom block consists of 12 classrooms, with six classrooms located upstairs and six downstairs. It also includes offices on both floors, store facilities and toilet facilities.
The building has five student toilets upstairs and five downstairs, while fans have also been installed in the classrooms and offices.
In addition to the classroom facilities, the project includes a solar-powered electricity system, providing an alternative and sustainable source of power for the building, as well as a borehole water supply.
The facility also features two library reading areas to support students’ academic activities and encourage a better reading culture.
The completion of the project is expected to improve the learning environment and provide students and teachers with better facilities for academic activities.
The intervention has been welcomed as an investment in educational infrastructure and the development of the younger generation in Ijebu-Igbo.
Education remains an important foundation for community development, and projects aimed at improving school infrastructure can contribute to creating better conditions for teaching and learning.
