Big Brother Naija Confirms Keivo’s Disqualification from Show Ya Sef Season After Physical Altercation with Tram

Big Brother Naija’s “Show Ya Sef” has lost one of its finalists after Biggie officially disqualified Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, from the reality show.
Biggie announced Keivo’s disqualification on Tuesday, September 29, after summoning the remaining housemates to the lounge and showing them what he described as disturbing footage of the physical altercation between Keivo and fellow housemate Tram.
“Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house,” Big Brother announced.
He also warned the housemates against resorting to violence, declaring: “Violence is never an option.”
The announcement brought an end to hours of uncertainty surrounding Keivo’s fate after his name mysteriously disappeared from the official voting platform earlier on Tuesday.
The drama began on Monday night when a disagreement between Keivo and Tram over a black shirt spiralled into a physical confrontation.
Tram had accused Keivo of taking his shirt, an allegation Keivo denied, insisting that he owned a similar shirt. The argument intensified as the two exchanged words, before Keivo threw the first punch, according to reports from the house.
Other housemates attempted to separate the two men, but Biggie eventually ordered everyone to freeze and deployed three Ninjas to intervene. Keivo was subsequently escorted from the house through the storeroom.
Before his removal, Keivo became emotional while explaining himself, insisting that the dispute was about more than the shirt. He maintained that being accused of taking something that did not belong to him had deeply upset him and said he did not want to leave the show with viewers believing that he was a thief.
His exit came just days before the grand finale, scheduled for October 4, abruptly ending what had been a remarkable journey for the housemate.
Keivo had entered the final week alongside Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram. The official Big Brother Naija website had listed all ten as finalists before Keivo’s removal.
Keivo’s disqualification has triggered a fierce debate among BBNaija viewers, particularly on social media.
While some fans condemned his decision to resort to violence, others questioned whether Tram should also face disciplinary action because of the circumstances surrounding the confrontation.
Big Brother’s decision is now final: Keivo, who only days earlier was campaigning for the ₦160 million grand prize, will not be part of the October 4 finale.
His disqualification makes him the second housemate to leave the “Show Ya Sef” competition through disqualification, after Nomy was removed earlier in the season.
For Keivo, the journey that had carried him all the way to the final stretch has ended not at the eviction stage, but in the shadow of a confrontation that transformed a seemingly ordinary dispute over a shirt into one of the season’s biggest controversies.
