Veteran Nollywood actor Diewait Ikpechukwu has passed away at the age of 71.
According to family sources, the former footballer and actor died on Thursday, November 5, 2026, following a prolonged illness.
Before becoming an actor, he was a footballer.
He was widely known for his delivery in core Nollywood classics which include the August Meeting, Royal Palace, The Guilty, Across the River, Python King, ljé Love, among others.
Details surrounding his death are still sketchy.
