Sergio Ramos will leave Real Madrid this summer after 16 successful seasons with the Spanish giants, the UK Mirror reports.
The 35-year-old’s current contract expires June 30 and a breakdown in his relationship with club president Florentino Perez, means that he will not extend his stay with Los Blancos.
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have both been linked with a move for the Spaniard.
But Manchester City could pip the pair to Ramos, by offering him a lucrative two-year contract.
Ramos’ exit seems like part of the planned Real Madrid rebuild following Carlo Ancelotti’s return to the Santiago Bernabeu, with Karim Benzema and Luka Modric the only key members of the old guard.
However, David Alaba has arrived as a free agent from Bayern Munich.
