The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that it is expecting at least 40 million Nigerians to register as members of the party by the end of its ongoing electronic registration exercise.
This was announced by Goodwin Obaseki, the Chairman of the PDP e-registration Committee and Edo State Governor on Tuesday in Abuja
He spoke during the ongoing expanded meeting of the PDP board of Trustees.
Obaseki said the exercise was programmed in a way that every prospective member can sit in the comfort of his/her home and register on line after which he/she can go and collect a membership card from his ward.
The governor announced that as of this morning, 10 persons have registered on the platform.
