On this day, exactly a year ago, the Lekki Toll Gate protesters who fiercely stood their ground for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) for CHANGE, End of Bad Governance were reportedly shot at by the Nigerian Army
This incidence remains unforgettable and we will continue to ask the question WHO GAVE THE ORDER?
Today, we remember the heroes who stood their grounds, waved their flags, lost their lives, provided food, water, drinks for protesters. the champions who kept Lagos clean after every protest days, the icons who entertained the protesters, heroes who fought from their keypads (Twitter warriors), the prayer warrior who prayed.
