Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson would be given only one condition to make an exit from the club in January, according to The Sun, UK.
The 24-year-old will only be allowed to leave if he agrees to an 18-month loan move away from Old Trafford.
The goalkeeper only returned from a two-year loan spell with Sheffield United in 2020.
David De Gea has improved his form sharply this season and Henderson has started just once in all competitions after the England international was almost taking over the number one spot last season.
However, Manchester United still believe Henderson could be the long-term first choice at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils feel a loan spell would benefit both the goalkeeper and the club but the newspaper claimed Henderson must agree to an 18-month spell.
Henderson is likely to have plenty of ‘suitors’, with Newcastle and Dortmund said to be interested.
The Manchester United second choice shot-stopper has fallen behind the likes of Aaron Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone in the England national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
He has to move away from Old Trafford to get some minutes of play to improve his chances of going to the World Cup in 2022.
