Hongkong president, Carrie Lam, has urged citizens and residents to abide with the Covid-19 rules and regulations, and also the lockdown of restaurants, gyms, party rooms, and beauty parlors will be extended till February
The extension of the restriction means that the residents will not be able to celebrate their lunar new year in an elaborate way, which begins on February 1.
This saddens the people as they all have plans for this year’s lunar festival. Most families want to use it as a thanksgiving get-together, but they have to adhere to the rules and regulations to prevent any further spread of the virus.
