Popular Actress, Funke Akindele took to her Instagram story, she told her fans that she hoped to add the hypeman duties to her job as an actor because it would help her earn more.
Funke said that actors do not make any money except they are before the camera, and on the screen, while hypemen get to party and earn money.
She said: “So I heard hypemen now make big money, asides from the club. They come for birthday parties and the rest, and they make a lot of money. So on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, they are busy. Some people even have their birthdays on Wednesdays.
“So I have been thinking about adding hyping to my career. This acting, if you are not behind the camera you won’t make any money. I am willing to learn from established hypemen as a trainee.”
