The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has endorsed Governor Babajide Sanwoolu for a second term in office as Lagos governor.
This happened during the ongoing national women conference holding in Lagos.
This revelation was made by Sanwoolu’s chief press secretary, Gboyega Akosile.
The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has stated that any party that is contesting against the All Progressives Party in Lagos State is wasting its time.
Sanwo-Olu’s Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, disclosed Wike’s statement on his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
He wrote, “Any party contesting against APC in Lagos is wasting time. Sanwo-Olu is a super performing Governor. – Gov. Nyesom Wike.”
Wike has earlier endorsed the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for a second term in office.
It is worthy of note that the PDP candidate in the state, Jide Adeniran ‘Jandor’ was welcomed into the party by Wike and others but now, it seems the tide has changed.
