Nigerian music superstar Tems has just won her first Grammy Award, for her performance in Future’s “Wait For You” where she was featured alongside Drake.
The song won the “Best Melodic Rap Performance” category in the 65th edition of arguably music’s biggest award show.
In a viral social media video, Tems, who dressed in a white gown, was seen conversing with Roc Nation founder Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé.
The pre-Grammy brunch was held at a private residence in Bel-Air, Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, award-winning singer, Damini Ogbulu, known better as Burna Boy lost two nominations.
He lost the ‘Best Global Music Album’ and the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ categories.
