The news, as reported by the Sun, said that the player and his partner are expecting their first child together.
The two have been involved in a legal battle since January 2022 when Greenwood was held by Crown Prosecution Services for charges of attempted rape and other misconduct.
The 21-year-old player is still suspended by his parent club Manchester United.
However, he is still entitled to his £75,000 per week salary.
Although the CPS has exonerated Greenwood, the club has already said that it will conduct its own research and decide if he would be inducted into the Manchester United team.
Greenwood was detained in January 2022 after a video of Robson bleeding was posted on social media. Law enforcement confirmed that as a result, Greenwood would face trial.
This news was soon followed by Nike cancelling its contract with him. Manchester United also suspended the player.
Earlier this year, the prosecution ruled,“Given the significant media coverage of this case, it is only fair that we share the news that the 21-year-old man, who had been arrested and charged in connection with an investigation opened in January 2022, no longer faces criminal proceedings in relation to this.“
The duo have been rumored to have gotten back together before as well. Earlier this week, Greenwood and Robson were spotted outside a Manchester supermarket.
