Residents of Ogun State have appealed to former Governor of the State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun to join forces with the State gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Oladipupo Adebutu in the coming governorship election in order to oust Governor Dapo Abiodun from office.
The residents, under the aegis of “Concerned Citizens” and armed with placards with anti Gov. Abiodun’s inscription, besieged the residence of Amosun located at Ibara GRA, Abeokuta, the state capital to register their appeal.
Speaking to newsmen after submitting a protest letter, the leader of the group, Adebayo Osonuga said they took the move in order to rescue the State from the government of Governor Abiodun, appealing to Amosun to join forces with the governorship candidate of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Oladipupo Adebutu.
