The Paramount ruler of Ijebu Igbo kingdom, HRM Alaiyeluwa Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo, in company of Abijaparako of Japara, HRH Oba Aderemi Ogunye, welcome the officer in charge of works in the Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command on a working visit to the site of the Police Area Command building in Ijebu Igbo yesterday 28th of March, 2023.
Creating Police Area Command for Ijebu Igbo was the vision of Senator Lekan Mustapha when he obtained the Federal government approval in 2007 during his first tenure as Senator representing Ogun East at the time.
Subject to this approval, the works commenced in early this year 2023 through the indefatigable effort of the Orimolusi in rallying for support from all Citizens of Ijebu Igbo across board.
With good patriotic and philanthropic gesture of all, the construction works have witnessed a good pace in progress, calling for an official inspection for the necessary ramifications.
On this note, the visiting team from Ogun Police Command Works led by Mr. Kolawole commended the efforts of the community, particularly the dogged impact of the Orimolusi in coordinating Ijebu Igbo citizens across board towards the realization of this age-long dream of having Police Area Command in Ijebu Igbo.
Mr. Kolawole, having taken his time to inspect the progress of the project, offered professional advice on some technicalities required to make the best out of the project.
Mr. Kolawole also visited Japara community in Ijebu Igbo under the able leadership of Abijaparako where a Police Station is being constructed. This Police Station is already captured in the community’s request letter to the Police Headquarters in Abuja.
Above all, the OC works was very impressive by the vision and committed efforts of the entire citizenry of Ijebu Igbo towards enhancing security architecture in the town. While feeling comfortable for a memorable time with Ijebu Igbo leaders, he admonished on further critical strategies that should further be put in the community agenda for futuristic benefits.
And at this juncture, the Alaiyeluwa, Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo expressed the heart full of Joy for the realization of this historic development during his reign. He glamorously welcomed the visiting team and acknowledged their best professional advices with royal blessing.
More importantly, the Orimolusi expressed gladness for the high level of support, commitment and sacrifices received from all Sons and Daughters of Ijebu Igbo home and abroad, especially the financial contributions to achieve the project.
The paramount ruler showered prayers that the *OSI ORIMOLUSI* will continue to abide with all.
