INEC Declares APC’s Sadipe Winner Of Oluyole Federal Constituency | MarvelTvUpdates

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe of APC as the winner of the supplementary election conducted in Oluyole federal Constituency on Saturday.

Recall that the election in the federal Constituency was declared inconclusive following cases of violence and malfunction of Bimodal Voters Accreditation System in unit 1 and 2 of Abbey Technical College Oluyole and IMG Primary School, Olunde in ibadan, all under Oluyole federal Constituency.

INEC declared the February 25 election inconclusive following the malfunctioning of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines and cases of over-voting in the affected polling units.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the returning officer of the Election, Prof. Olaniyi Babayemi declares Sadipe winner of the poll after collation of results.

With this, Hon Sadipe returns to the House of Representatives having defeated the former Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Makinde, Abdul-Mojeed Mogbonjubola.

Akande-Sadipe is currently representing the Oluyole Federal Constituency in the lower legislative chamber.

Responding, Hon Sadipe dedicated the victory to the good people of Oluyole federal Constituency adding that despite all intimidation, they stood their ground and vote for her.

She promised to serve the federal Constituency will all her might while she called for more support from the constituents.
