The Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti was caught on camera assaulting a uniformed police officer.
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR, has ordered the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, to immediately arrest Kuti.
The IGP has similarly requested an expedient and full examination concerning the remote and prompt cause(s) of the attack and indictment of the suspect likewise.
IGP Usman Alkali Baba guarantees Nigerians that demonstrations of hatred/scorn for images of power won’t go on without serious consequences while wrongdoers of such ugly violations will be definitely brought to book.
