According to many sources, he died from injury he sustained from falling down in the bathroom in the early hours of Sunday, May 14.
A colleague, Odunlade Adekola confirmed the sad story.
The Osun-born thespian has featured in over 100 movies before his demise.
Many of his colleagues have taken to their social media handles to mourn the loss of the talented thespian.
