The Osun State Police Command has arrested Kehinde Adesogba Adekusibe, a 28-year-old man who asked that all the Igbo in Yorubaland should be killed and flushed out.
Adekusibe, had in a tweet last month, amid ethnic tension over the 2023 elections, wrote in a tweet that went viral, that “Let’s kill all the Igbos. Let’s flush them out of Yoruba lands. I hate these people with passion.
They are violent people.
They are worst. They hate us. Let’s hate them without holding back.

The state police command in a statement via Twitter on Friday, said the suspect was arrested “for posting hateful content calculated to incite ethnic violence in the country via his Twitter account on May 18, 2023.
The suspect will be arraigned in court upon completion of investigation.”
