The sad news was announced by her colleague in the entertainment industry, Joseph Okechukwu.
According to the filmmaker, he was about to pay for Cynthia Okereke’s flight ticket to come to America but sadly, she died in her sleep on tuesday at age 63.
Before her demise, the Enugu born actress has acted in more than 200 Nollywood movies some of which include; King Jaja of Opobo, Osuofia in London, Second Chance, Coronation, Otollo, Sound of Love, Second Burial, Lion Finger, Hidden Tears, Mega Mama, Mr. Ibu’s Wedding Day, etc.
She often played the role of a good mother, grandmother, royal queen and mother in-law in Nollywood movies.
