The services of WhatsApp, the popular instant communication app owned by Meta, have been restored after a global outage was reported on Wednesday.
It was gathered that, there was a disruption in the messaging service of WhatsApp, which was first noticed a few minutes past 7 pm, causing users to be unable to send or receive messages.
The disruption was reported globally as foreign news media platforms like The Jerusalem Express and the Indian Post reported the outage.
WhatsApp users across phones and the WhatsApp Web service were affected.
But services have been restored as of the time of filing this report.
WhatsApp is yet to release an official statement.
