With barely three months to his 20th coronation anniversary, the Paramount ruler of IsoloWith barely three months to his 20th coronation anniversary, the Paramount ruler of Isolo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Alani Agbabiaka has joined his ancestors.
It was gathered that, the traditional ruler died at the age of 64.
He breathed his last at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, in the early hours of Wednesday where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.
Until his death, he was the secretary of Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs.
Confirming the development, the Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, Mr Olasoju Adebayo said the paramount traditional ruler of Isolo died this morning.
Hon Olasoju said Oba Agbabiaka would be buried today by 4pm at his palace, 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo according to Islamic rites.
