‘Give Us Osimhen,’ Chelsea Fans Cry Out After Loss To Manchester City In Opening EPL Match | MarvelTvUpdates

Following their season opener against Manchester City where they lost 2-0, fans of Chelsea have expressed their interest in Victor Osimhen as they called on the club to sign the Nigerian forward.

In a game characterized by a loss of chances, fans of the club saw the need for a prolific striker like Osimhen to be brought in to convert the team’s chances in games.

The lack of pre-season minutes for many on show was apparent in the more pedestrian pace than normal for a major Premier League clash.

Chelsea did most of the pressing for an equaliser but offered City chances to extend their lead in doing so.

Sanchez made a fine save to deny Haaland a second before De Bruyne again fired inches off target when unmarked at the edge of the area.

However, the Chelsea goalkeeper was at fault for the goal that sealed their fate.

Kovacic was allowed to burst through the midfield unchallenged and took aim for the top corner, which he found thanks to a weak hand from Sanchez.

@iamdikeh: “all I can say is I’m convinced that Chelsea just needs a good finisher.
Osimhen please my brother, I’m begging you in the name of God, my brother please come abeg, just come abeg. Which kain wahala Chelsea wan put me inside this season.”

@CFCPys: I like Jackson but anyone who doesn’t want Osimhen or another top box striker is not looking at our best interests this season. Robert Sanchez is not good enough and Jorgensen is another young keeper who we are screwed this season if he isn’t a significant upgrade on Robert.
